How Does the Friendship Compatibility Test Work?
The Friendship Compatibility Test (also known as the BFF Calculator) is an algorithmic tool designed to measure the potential bond between two friends based strictly on their names. Let's be honest — real friendship depends on trust, mutual respect, shared memories, and inside jokes. But it's always fun to see what the algorithm says about you and your bestie!
Our Friendship Calculator uses a deterministic name-matching formula. It analyzes the letters in your name and your friend's name, cross-references shared vowels and consonants, and computes a "platonic resonance" score ranging from 0% to 100%. If you get an ultra-high score, you might just be meant to be best friends forever!
Interpreting Your BFF Score
- 0% - 30%: Casual Acquaintances. You might wave at each other in the hallway, but you probably aren't sharing deep secrets yet.
- 31% - 60%: Good Pals. You enjoy hanging out and have fun together, but the bond still has room to grow!
- 61% - 85%: Great Friends. You trust each other and have formed a solid connection. Definitely invite them to your next party!
- 86% - 100%: Ultimate Besties (BFFs). A pure soulmate-level friendship! You probably finish each other's sentences.
